Kate Moss for Rimmel Lipsticks-Shades 16 and 03

These lipsticks have been on my radar for a while now to pick up from town,so when i looked at my advantage cards deal in Boots and saw i had vouchers for £2 off any lipstick in store i knew i had to pick some up.
The two shades I decided to purchase were shade 16 which is a yellow based coral pink and shade 03 which is a gorgeous neutral brown shade.

The collection is based on lipsticks which have been designed by Kate Moss and myself being a skeptic was worried that the quality of the product wouldn't be as good which i find is the case for many celebrity endorsed products but oh i was wrong! I absolutely love everything about these lipsticks!
The packaging is stylish with a sleek black design with Kate Moss's signature on it which is in varying colours.

The quality of these lipsticks is also brilliant, with both of the shades being extremely pigmented, which can be seen from the swatch below. Also, the lipsticks have a lovely creamy texture once applied to the lips which reminds me of the consistency of MAC cremesheen lipsticks, with both types leaving your lips feeling smooth and nourished.
The lasting power of these lipsticks isn't the longest, with each shade staying on the lips for around 3-4 hours,so if you are after a long lasting lipstick these may not be your first choice, but if this is not the case then for the price these lipsticks are brilliant!
The final aspect which i really love about these products is the taste! It reminds me of a cherry coke, with the taste being quite sweet and somewhat artificial, but even with this being the case i really love it. I don't know myself personally if this is the case with all
Rimmel lipsticks or just this collection as i haven't actually tried any other lipsticks from this brand, but if it is,then please let me know.
I know there are many people who do not like flavoured lip products,so i am warning you that if this is the case for yourself then these lipsticks may not be right for you.

Overall a really brilliant high street/drugstore product which i have been really impressed by!I will hopefully try to pick up some more from the collection soon! (i currently my eye on the shade 20 which is a bright barbie pink!)

These lipsticks are priced at around £5.50 and are available in Boots and Superdrug. (In Boots currently they are priced at £3.99!)

Have you tried these lipsticks before?Would you buy a product simply for the celebrity endorsement?

Real Techniques Brushes!

Hello Everyone!
If you like me are obsessed with the blogging community then you will have probably at somepoint read about these brushes already.

They have been created by the gorgeous Samantha Chapman, who is also one half of the amazing pixiwoo s! If you haven't heard of/checked then out before then you must go see their youtube channel with all their videos and their blog because they are make-up genuises!

The brushes themselves are available in numerous places around the world and within here in the UK they are available both online and in many Boots stores around the country (check out the pixiwoo blog for a full list of boots stores which stock them)

The range has both individual brushes for sale and sets which also come with a handy brush holder/ stand which is so handy! Also each of te brushes has a flat end which means they can stand up on their own, which is not something i have seen with any range of brushes before!
I picked up a mix of these and picked up the core collection set, the blusher brush and the shading brush which is for your eyes.
I am planning to do individual reviews on the brushes as i do have particular favourites but i thought this post would give you a quick overview of the brushes i bought, especially if you are considering buying them.
The brushes have each got colour co ordinated handles, with the colour identifying the area on the face where they are made for. However so many of these brushes i find are multi functional so i wouldn't restrict yourself to simply these specific areas when using them. The brushes themselves are made from taklon fibres ( synthetic) and are all cruelty free (bonus!!).

Without going into too much detail, i will say the brushes are absolutely fantastic quality and definitely value for money!

As i said i will be doing more individual reviews in the next couple of weeks but as usual please let me know what you think of these brushes- have you bought them?what are your thoughts on them?are you considering buying them?

Soap and Glory Heel Genius!

Hi Guys!
This product is one of many i recieved in the mahoosive gift set that Soap and Glory released at christmas time,so there are plenty more reviews to come!
Heel Genius is as you may have been able to guess from the name is a foot cream. I have to be completely honest i have never particularly liked foot creams, they either never seem to work or have an artificial minty sort of smell or a combination of the two! They are the type of product i would see in a store and completely ignore and walk past, and as much as i enjoy soap and glory products i would probably have done the exact same with this product!
However as it was part of a set i was willing to give it a try,and was pleasantly suprised! The product itself is a light green colour, with a thick, sort of gel like consistency, which when rubbed in turns white and then clear. The bottle itself suggests that a thick layer should be put onto the feet and cotton socks placed over the top which is exactly what i do! Now, i am not saying i have had amazing results, but my feet do feel so much softer after i use it! I think if i was just to rub it in i don't think i would achieve such good results, but leaving it on all night really does allow the product to soak in well and make my feet much nicer!
The one big downside which puts me off using the product is the scent, which is quite strong! I do think it is quite a personnal choice though as my female housemates all seem to quite like it! It wouldn't neccessarily put me off the product all together as it does work it just is not an aspect that i particularly enjoy!
The product is available to buy in boots (here) or from soap and glory from their website (here). Heel genius is available in 125ml and is priced at £5.50

Have you tried this product? If so what are your thoughts? What is your favourite foot product?Let me know!

Hair Problem Series-Hairspray

I will begin by saying i have the most annoying hair ever! As you may have seen in my profile picture i have dark brown hair which is fairly long and i also have a full fringe. The biggest problem i have is that i get really dry mid length to end hair which can make my hair look quite flyaway or fluffy but i can really quickly get oily roots! Especially with my fringe i find that i am getting really oily roots which i feel makes my hair look unclean when it is not the case!
The problem is even worse when i try to use products on my hair so these series of posts are goimg to be about trying to find a hair routine and hair products which suit my hair and not make the problems better not worse!
First up is the new Pantene PRO-V hairspray which is the Ultra Strong Hold in the 'Smooth and Sleek'range. I bought this party because i have tried Pantene products in the past and had some fairly decent results and partly because the student that i am saw it was on offer at half price (this offer is no longer available :-( ) but the product is available here at £2.99 which is still a decent price.

I chose the ultra hold as i need a hairspray that will last on nights out as when i curl/straighten my hair it fairly easily looses its shape! The biggest worry with hairspray is that it will weigh my hair down and make it look greasy, but so far i have had absolutely no such problems! The product itself i find comes out in such a fine mist that it doesn't over power your hair with product and means you can spray a decent amount without having your hair have the typical crispy look that some hairsprays tend to give!

Please note-if you have used or seen this product before and you are thinking that it doesn't look familiar it is because Pantene have just had a makeover! All their products have had their packaging redesigned which i personally love.I think they look really sleek!

Have you got any hair product recommendations? Do you suffer with similar problems?
Let me know any of your thoughts and advice :D!
